From small-volume controls to bulk apheresis supply
Human plasma differs from serum in that clotting factors remain present — anticoagulated with either K2-EDTA or Li-Heparin depending on the downstream application. This makes it suited to diagnostic kit calibrators, controls, and assay development where the presence of clotting factors and other plasma-specific proteins is required.
For diagnostic manufacturers and reagent producers requiring larger volumes, we additionally offer apheresis-collected plasma in bulk quantities — collected via plasmapheresis rather than whole blood donation, allowing for higher per-donor volumes and more efficient bulk supply.
