Where Low IgG fits between standard and Ultra Low IgG FBS<\/h2>\n

\n Standard fetal bovine serum naturally contains residual bovine\n immunoglobulin G (IgG), which can interfere with hybridoma cloning\n efficiency, mask low-titre monoclonal antibody signals, and\n contaminate downstream antibody purification. Not every application\n requires the strictest possible IgG depletion, however.\n <\/p>\n

\n SeamlessBio FBS Low IgG is screened to a confirmed specification of\n below 200 \u00b5g\/mL<\/strong> bovine IgG per batch \u2014 a meaningful\n reduction from standard FBS, at a more accessible price point than\n our Ultra Low IgG grade (<5 \u00b5g\/mL).\n <\/p>\n

\n This grade is well suited to applications where some background\n IgG reduction is beneficial for assay clarity, but where the assay\n is not sensitive enough to require Ultra Low IgG's stricter\n depletion threshold \u2014 for example, general antibody-related cell\n culture work rather than early-stage hybridoma screening.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n
