The right choice for routine, high-volume cell culture

Not every cell culture application requires the tightest possible specifications. For routine expansion of well-established, robust cell lines, SeamlessBio FBS Standard offers reliable growth performance at a significantly more accessible price point than our specialised grades.

FBS Standard typically carries somewhat higher values across parameters such as endotoxin and IgG than our specialised grades (Low Endotoxin, Ultra Low IgG, etc.) — values that are entirely suitable for general cell maintenance and expansion, but not intended for applications with strict sensitivity requirements.

For sensitive or difficult-to-culture cell types — including stem cells, primary cells or cells used in regulated workflows — our FBS Premium grade or one of our specialised treatment grades is generally the more suitable choice.
