The reference grade for cell therapy expansion
Human Serum OTC Type AB Male combines three properties that matter most for cell therapy and ATMP manufacturing: it is human-derived (eliminating xenogenic immune responses seen with bovine serum), Type AB (no anti-A/B antibodies, making it compatible across donor and patient blood types), and sourced exclusively from male donors (removing the TRALI — transfusion- related acute lung injury — risk associated with female-donor plasma products, and reducing hormonal cycle-related variability).
The off-the-clot (OTC) processing method allows platelets to degranulate naturally during clotting, releasing a full native spectrum of growth factors — including PDGF, EGF, TGF-β and IGF-1 — that support robust expansion of T cells, NK cells and mesenchymal stromal cells.
